One of the biggest home and interior trends this summer is tropical palm prints, according to Pinterest.
With more than 175 million people using Pinterest around the world each month, when something trends on Pinterest, it's definitely worth knowing about.
Pinterest has revealed that saves for palm leaf prints are up 135 per cent. Think bright, bold and oversized playful patterns, ranging from wallpapers (like this from Murals Wallpaper above) to soft furnishings, bedding and wall art. Not only is it bringing the outside in, but it has summer written all over it.

In fact, earlier this year, Paula Taylor, senior stylist at Graham & Brown told us that the palm trend will move botanical 'into more of a jungle'. Paula explained: 'This design follows the Pantone Colour of the year, with Greenery being a big trend for 2017. And it shows no sign of dying off either, promising big things into 2018.'
And it's not just palm leaf prints trending, as all things inspired by Club Tropicana has seen a spike on Pinterest, too. If you're lucky enough to have a big swimming pool at home – or maybe you'll be heading off on holiday this summer – then it might interest you to know that searches for flamingo inflatables are up by 36 per cent since the beginning of the year, as well as watermelon floaters (up by 66 per cent) and unicorn ideas (up by 50 per cent).
And when it comes to summer entertaining, for the non-gin lovers amongst us, rum cocktail recipes are up by 130 per cent.
